Good morning, Good afternoon and Good evening,
whatever time you are seeing this. Monasteries and the many small
Khangtsens, at the
moment
in this world where, the Dharma is studied more extensively if they
don't have conditions like, rooms for monks if they don't have
facilities what would happen, then no opportunity for many Sanghas to
learn dharma (Sutra and Tantra) extensively and put them into practice
and actualize the path that leads up, will not happen. So if these
monasteries doesn't exist the opportunity for the people of the world
where they can complete study extensively dharma verses by heart
wouldn't happen. Later, even the scriptures exist but then nobody knows
the meaning and the texts will be in the Libraries and nobody can teach.
You see how important these monasteries to have facilities and
develop….people from the world come there to study and learn from the
learned teachers.
As great Buddhisattva Shantideva said, Teaching of the Buddha is only
medicine to heal the suffering of the Sentient Beings. As so people who
are doing works, earn money, offers to Sanghas and Sanghas benefit to
study dharma and to spread dharma in the world…….so it benefit whole
world and all Sentient beings.
So here Sera Je Tsawa Khangtsen, Lama Yeshi and Lama Lhundup's Khangtsen
with 267 monks, if those who can offer to build 1,2,5,6,7 or 10 rooms or
more that will be very great help. If that happens, quicker they can
build straight-away, not to build a few then wait for a long time, also
may be more expensive."

"Eversince, the First Dagri Rinpoche Khenchen Gyatso Thayae joined Tsawa
Khangtsen of Sera Je Monastery, the incarnations of the Dagri
Rinpoche
has established relation with this Khangtsen. Previous Dagri Rinpoches
has extended their support and made contributions towards the welfare of
this Khangtsen as well as to the Sera Je Monastery through both
spiritually and politically. The Great Vinaya Master Penchen Delek Nyima
who gave the name Tsawa Khangtsen to this house is also one of the
previous lineage incarnations of Dagri Rinpoche so I feel this Khangtsen
has special relation with Dagri Tulkus.
In the past, before the Chinese occupation of Tibet, reincarnate lineage
of Dagri Rinpoche has been guiding this Khangtsen that there were nobody
from this Khangtsen who had not receive teaching from them. The
contributions made towards this Khangtsen by previous Dagri Rinpoches
are immense that it is unimaginable for reciprocating.
Under the difficult situation of present Tibet, I escaped into India in
1982 and with blessful guidance of His Holiness the Dalai Lama I joined
Sera Je Monastery in South India to further my studies in Buddhist
Philosophy. During that period I have the opportunity to meet with Lama
Thubten Yeshi and he had generously provided support towards my studies
including my staying accommodation. Not only that, he has accepted my
request and has aspiration of his own to support this Khangtsen in the
future but soon after that he left us for the well beings of other
sentient beings.
I pay my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Ven. Khenrinpoche
Lhundup Rigsal for fulfilling the great wish of Lama Thubten Yeshi
giving meaningful support to this Khangtsen.
Due to constantly increase in numbers of students joining this Khangtsen
for the past few years the problems of rooms for the students are very
obvious but lack of fund has so far kept the Khangtsen from constructing
new hostels. The monks staying in rooms worn out by rain and wind are
all humble and hard working students of Buddhist Philosophy. To relieve
them from such difficulties I request you all to extend your generous
support and make contributions toward the new hostel project of Sera Je
Tsawa Khangtsen.
May all Sentient Beings achieve ultimate happiness."

"Dear Great Kindness ....
I would like to request your help today for Tsawa Kamzen. The monks at
Tsawa Kamzen rally need your help to build new rooms, their rooms are
very old, the roof is broken in many places, and therefore water is
leaking in, and many insects come through the holes. In winter the rooms
are too cold, and in summer too hot, and then quite often, the monks get
sick. It is very important for the monks to study and having good
conditions for their studies is very very important. The compassionate
teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha are getting rarer every day in this
world; there are less and less scholars and students studying and
practicing them. We need to support all those who still have enthusiasm
to study these teachings, keeping the knowledge and the tradition of
these teachings alive for the benefit of all sentient beings. Many monks
have already graduated from this Kamzen and are now serving the
international Buddhist community as teachers.
I pray that the continued activity of Tsawa Kamzen and its 267 students
will bring much benefit in the future. To keep these virtuous activities
alive and growing I request from the bottom of my heart for your help
with the building of the new rooms."
With countless Tashi delek
